Hotelbewertungen Giannoulis – Santa Marina Beach Hotel 4*

We spent our summerholiday in this hotel. My husband, my 8 year old stepdaughter and I. First of all I want to say, that the hotel is very nice and clean. The staff there is very polite and helpful. Our room was okay, it was a doublebed and an extra bed for our child. The maid came every day, we got fresh towels and she arrange the dolls from our daughter on the bed, that was very sweet. Our daughter was very happy about this. The Food was okay. I find it very sad, that there was not much fish or seafood by the buffet. I know you have international guests, but you could make more food with fish or seafood. I mean, your hotel is next to the ocean. The best part on food for our family was the breakfast. Lots of food, fresh fruits and vegetables, scrummbled eggs and bacon. It was very delicious. The Beach by the hotel was amazing. Clear water, sand, no stones. Perfect for our daughter, because you can go about 50 Meters in the ocean, and is not deep. She was very happy, and we were too. Also I think its okay to pay 2, 50 € for one sunbed (in Italy did we pay 7, 50€). It was a nice holiday, but I think for us is one week enough. 2 Weeks would be probably boring. There is one hotel after the other, some mini-supermarkets, beauty spas everywhere and some restaurants. It was okay for one week. And the local people are really, really nice — at the airport, the taxi driver, the hotelstaff and the staff in the restaurant nearby. I would recommend you this hotel, if you want to have a relaxed vacation, with laying on the pool/beach, reading a book, animation for the kids and nothing you have to do or worry about (i mean by that: no cooking, cleaning, …)
